The IMG Junior Golf Tour announced today the addition of a new, lower membership fee and more flexible tournament entry fee options to better serve its growing membership and their families.
The IMG Junior Golf Tour announced today the addition of a new, lower membership fee and more flexible tournament entry fee options to better serve its growing membership and their families.
Players may become a member of the tour for $99 (reduced from $149). The 2011-12 membership package includes reduced tournament entry fees and a retail gift package valued at over $250.
In addition, a Tournament Entry Fee has been introduced to allow parents and players the flexibility to pay a reduced entry fee if they should choose not to, or are unable to, take advantage of a tournament’s official practice round, typically held the Friday before the event.
“We set out last season to provide more value to our players and their families by including a practice round and meals as part of the tournament entry fee,” said Tournament Director Andrew Parr. “We still believe this is a great value and will continue to provide that option in an all-inclusive format while also adding more flexibility through our new Tournament Entry Fee for players whose academic and travel schedules often make it impractical to attend a Friday practice round.”
Below is a summary of these exciting new options:
- Membership Fee reduced from $149 to $99
- Members may choose between two tournament entry fee options
o All-Inclusive Entry: $249
- Friday Practice Round and player meals included in entry fee
- Competition rounds and tournament gifts included
o Tournament Entry: $184
- Friday Practice Round and player meals not included
- Competition rounds and tournament gifts included - Players may also elect to play as a non-member for an additional $50 per tournament
