Season-ending championship to be held on one of nation's highest-rated private courses
Today the IMG Junior Golf Tour announces the season-ending IMG Junior Golf Tour Championship will be held at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla., May 11-13, 2012. Eighty-four players will take to the award-winning course to compete for the Tour’s most coveted title.
Designed by Jack Nicklaus in collaboration with Tony Jacklin, The Concession was named ‘Best New Private Course of 2006’ by Golf Digest, and holds one of the highest Course and Slope Ratings by the United States Golf Association. The 18-hole par 72 design is set on 520 acres of ruggedly pristine land dotted with immense oaks and majestic pines. The 7,474-yard course runs three miles from tip to tip providing players with an uninterrupted golf experience abundant with wildlife and natural vegetation.
Complementing The Concession’s championship layout is one of the world’s largest private practice areas recognized by Golf Digest as one of the “75 Best Practice Areas in the United States.” It includes a dual-ended driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area that allows one to practice any shot they might need, including pitch shots up to 80 yards.

Official practice rounds for one of junior golf’s most prestigious championships begin May 11, with the tournament running May 12-13. A season-ending awards banquet will also be held at The Concession and will be included in the tournament entry fee. All juniors may apply for the event - entry is granted via entry criteria posted on the tournament website (based largely on season points standings).
The Concession will play host to a number of other prestigious events this year, including the Callaway Collegiate Match Play Championship, Big Ten Match Play Championship and the AJGA Rolex Girls Junior Championship.
