IMG Junior Golf Tour 2010-2011 Players of the Year
Juan Veloza, So Young Hwang, Brett Beazant and Phoebe Zhao are the 2010-2011 IMG Junior Golf Tour Players of the Year
The IMG Junior Golf Tour crowned Players of the Year in each age division May 22 during the awards ceremony for the Power Balance Tour Championship.
The Player of the Year Award is based on cumulative points throughout the season, with players earning points for every top-10 finish.

Boys 15-18
Juan Veloza
Juan Veloza, of Bradenton, FL, finished in the top-10 in all four events he played in this season. Veloza tied for second at Victoria Hills Golf Club and broke through to take the victory at The Golf Club at North Hampton with a final-round 68. He developed a reputation as a final-round master this season, taking home the Low Final Round award at Victoria Hills (72), North Hampton (68) and Celebration Golf Club (71).
Girls 15-18
So Young Hwang
South Korean So Young Hwang took home Player of the Year honors in the Girls 15-18 Division, winning all three events she entered. Hwang was victorious at Waldorf-Astoria Golf Club, Boca Raton Resort & Club and Legacy Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch. Her 9-stroke victory in Boca Raton was the season’s largest margin of victory in the Girls 15-18 division.
Boys 11-14
Brett Beazant
Beazant, of the UK, played steadily throughout his five events this season, finishing in the top-6 each outing. A victory at Naples Grande Golf Club in October highlighted the rising star’s season.
Girls 11-14
Phoebe Zhao
14-year-old Phoebe Zhao of China won four times this season, the most victories of any player in any division. Zhao posted wins at Victoria Hills, North Hampton, Celebration and capped off her exceptional year with a 5-shot victory at the Power Balance Tour Championship.
