The IMG Junior Golf Tour was developed to fill a key niche in junior golf, the IMG Junior Golf Tour provides an elite setting for junior golfers to compete and gain exposure to college golf, professional golf, national junior rankings and athletic excellence.
Held in Florida every December, and open to boys and girls ages 11-18, the the IMG Academy Junior World Florida Challengeis a qualification and invitation only event featuring an international field of over 200 players.News

The IMG Junior Golf Tour kicks off its 10th season this fall, featuring approximately 20 events hosted at top venues including PGA Golf Club, the Omni Champions Gate Resort, The Resort at Longboat Key Club and PGA National Golf Club.
The tour will once again provide a platform for players to compete in high-quality events featuring strong fields and opportunities to earn status and exemptions into some of the highest-level junior events in the country.
Membership and Tournament Registration are now open for the majority of the 2019-20 season.
Highlights on this season’s schedule include:
SEASON KICKOFF AT LONGBOAT KEY
AUGUST 31 – SEPTEMBER 1
Our season kickoff event returns to the Sarasota, FL-area for a Labor Day weekend event on the Resort at Longboat Key Club’s Harbourside Course. With many of the holes bordering Sarasota Bay and the Resort’s picturesque marina, the Harbourside Course will be a beautiful venue to open our season.
PGA GOLF CLUB (RYDER COURSE)
OCTOBER 26 – 27
The tour returns to PGA Golf Club’s Ryder Course in Port Saint Lucie, FL for the first time since 2013. The event is poised to attract a great field of players from across the state of Florida.
THANKSGIVING AT CHAMPIONSGATE
NOVEMBER 29 – DECEMBER 1
Our annual 54-hole Thanksgiving event makes its first appearance at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. The resort will provide an excellent holiday weekend setting with on-site accommodations and activities for the whole family.
JUNIOR WORLD FLORIDA CHALLENGE
DECEMBER 14-16
Founded in 2014 and quickly becoming a top junior event, the IMG Academy Junior World Florida Challenge returns to three Sarasota-area courses December 14-16. The field will feature over 200 players from more than 25 countries.
JUNIOR HONDA CLASSIC
JANUARY 4-5
One of the most popular junior events in the country returns to PGA National Resort & Spa January 4-5. The 2019 Junior Honda featured a record field of over 310 competitors from over 20 states and 15 foreign countries.
2020 JUNIOR WORLD QUALIFIERS
In addition to the Junior World Florida Challenge and Junior Honda Classic, three spring events will serve as qualifiers for the prestigious IMG Academy Junior World Championships, held each summer in San Diego. Champions from each age division earn a spot in the 2020 Junior World field which will feature over 1,300 players from 50+ countries and is attended annually by more than 100 college coaches. Qualifier events include:
